The super versatile Enve Fray, same colour, 2 different builds, 2 different ride types.
We’ve enjoyed building the Enve Fray for customers and have done so many different variants that we thought we share two builds that externally look the same but are built completely different for different types of riding.
Enve Fray (bike on left with white rim decals)
The Enve Fray built on the left was built as a no compromise fast road bike used for various different gran fondos and events but also needed to be comfy fit wise for the customer which is why the Fray was chosen over Melee. The build used a Shimano Dura Ace Groupset and Fast Enve SES 4.5 wheelset with Continental Grand Prix 5000s TR 32mm tyres.
Enve Fray (bike on right with black decals)
The Enve Fray built on the right was to be used on Ultra long endurance events. The Fray was chosen as it needed to be light, comfy, needed to have frame storage, incredibly good build quality, good tyre clearence and good anti vibration/rattle able to be built into it which half is provided by Enve and the rest done by ourselves. The build used a Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8170 groupset but fully wired from the battery instead of wireless to rely on 1 battery and rolled on Enve SES 3.4 wheels for good handling in all weathers with Continental Grand prix 5000 All season 35mm tyres.
