The versatile Enve Fray — same colour, two distinct builds, designed for two different riding styles.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed building the Enve Fray for our customers. Having created a wide range of unique builds, we wanted to showcase two examples that may look identical at first glance, but are purpose-built for entirely different styles of riding.

Enve Fray (left bike – white rim decals)

The Enve Fray on the left is a no-compromise fast road build, designed for Gran Fondos and high-performance events. Comfort and fit were key requirements for the rider, which led to the Fray being chosen over the Melee.

This build features a Shimano Dura-Ace groupset, paired with fast-rolling Enve SES 4.5 wheels and Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR 32mm tyres—delivering speed, efficiency, and all-day ride quality.

Enve Fray (right bike – black rim decals)

The Enve Fray on the right is configured for ultra-distance endurance riding, where reliability, comfort, and versatility are paramount. The Fray was selected for its lightweight design, integrated frame storage and excellent tyre clearance, as well as outstanding ride quality.

This build uses a Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8170 groupset, fully wired for a single-battery setup to maximise reliability over long distances. It rolls on Enve SES 3.4 wheels for confident handling in all conditions, paired with Continental Grand Prix 5000 All Season 35mm tyres for enhanced durability and grip.
